MEET THE TEAM

  • Michael Quadrini, MD

    Chief Executive Officer

    In addition to practicing Nephrology full-time, Dr. Quadrini serves as Apogee’s CEO. He’s our “big picture” thinker that drives the direction of the company. He’s well-connected with the pharmaceutical community thanks to his role as a Speaker and Physician Educator at several large pharma companies. Dr. Quadrini combines his vast knowledge of medicine with his keen business sense to help Apogee soar.

  • Jesslyn Roesch, CCRC

    President & Chief Operating Officer

    After getting her toes wet on several ground-breaking Multiple Sclerosis trials, Ms. Roesch decided to combine her Biology background, entrepreneurial mindset, and fascination with the clinical research industry to create a machine-like research department at Nephrology Consultants. Her goal is to continue implementing clinical research in practices across the Southeast, bringing trials to waiting patients. She’s held data-impacting roles in over 90 clinical trials and knows the ins and outs of all things operations from study start to close. Ms. Roesch brings a wealth of industry experience to the Apogee leadership team.

  • David Bains, MD

    Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Bains spends his days practicing Nephrology and his nights utilizing his PI experience to review and approve studies for Apogee to conduct.

    He interfaces with both Sponsors/CROs about new trial opportunities, and with local partnering physicians about where Apogee fits in to their practice. He also helps guide the direction of Apogee as a company.

    In addition to coordinating multiple trials and knocking every enrollment goal she’s given out of the park, Tori’s tasked with making friends near and far as she spreads the word about Apogee as our Marketing Manager.

    Sally splits her time between coordinating and serving as Apogee’s QC Queen- making sure we all dot our “I’s” and cross our “T’s,” oh- and also that we’re the most technically sound team in the research game.

  • Natalie Freking

    Start-Up & Regulatory Specialist/ Clinical Research Coordinator I

    There is no such thing as an intimidating task for our Start-Up Specialist, Natalie. In addition to filing all the necessary paperwork, she creates all of our eSource- making our patient visits flow smoothly. She’s also been known to tackle a trial or two herself.

  • McKinley Slayton

    Contract Specialist/ Clinical Research Coordinator I

    McKinley makes sure the machine runs by negotiating contracts, invoicing, and reconciling payments- and she does it so well! She’s both business-y and clinical, serving as our go-to unblinded pharmacist. She’s the keeper of all the “who’s on placebo” secrets.
